CLAT Exam Pattern 2022
The CLAT for UG program shall be a 2-hour duration test that will test your aptitude and reasoning ability. The paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer and 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.

CLAT 2022 Syllabus
Candidates appearing for the exam must thoroughly know the syllabus to be able to start their preparation. Let’s look at the exam syllabus.
CLAT Syllabus includes five subjects, namely, English Language, General Awareness, Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning.
Candidates are advised to go through the complete CLAT syllabus in detail. Some of the topics included in the syllabus are:
English Language: Comprehensive passages will be given and students have to answer the questions based on the passage. Questions are also asked on Idioms and Phrases, Sentence Rearrangement, Fill in the Blanks, etc.
General Awareness: It includes questions on static general knowledge, current events and happenings, national & international current affairs and much more.
Quantitative Techniques: In this section, the level of questions will be similar to elementary-level mathematics. The questions will be in the form of Graphical Representation; therefore, candidates will have to infer information from the passage and answer accordingly.
Legal Reasoning: This section will test the student’s interest in the area of law, and their problem-solving ability. Questions will be based on facts and scenarios involving legal matters.
Logical Reasoning: The CLAT logical reasoning section will test the candidate’s logical ability. It will include questions on topics such as syllogism, arguments and inferences, analogies, etc.
