The Consortium of National Law Universities has released the exam dates for CLAT 2022 and CLAT 2023. The complete CLAT schedule will be released soon on its CLAT official website. CLAT 2022 will take place on 08 May 2022, while CLAT 2023 will be conducted on 18 December 2022. Hence, in 2022 two CLAT examinations will be held in one year.
CLAT Exam Date 2022 & 2023
The consortium of NLUs has declared that the CLAT Exam 2022 will be conducted on 08 May 2022. The exam will be held in 82 cities and 147 centers across the country. It will be an offline exam of a 2-hour duration in which candidates have to answer 150 objective-type questions.
CLAT 2022 will be held on 18 December 2022. The exam will be conducted offline, pen and paper mode.

CLAT 2022 Application Form Date
The CLAT 2022 online application form for admissions to law courses at the participating NLUs will open in the 1st week of January. The candidates who pass the eligibility criteria can fill the application form.

CLAT 2022 Admit Card Date
The admit card for CLAT 2022 will be released a few days before the exam date. The admit card will contain all the details regarding the date and time of the exam, name & address of the allotted exam center, reporting time, and the roll number. On the exam day, the candidates need to report to the CLAT exam center as per the reporting time.
CLAT 2022 Result Date
The exam officials will declare the result of the CLAT 2022 exam within a few days of the conduct of the exam. The result will be released in the form of individual scorecards and consolidated merit lists. There’s no login required to download the merit list, but to download the individual scorecards, the candidates need to login by entering CLAT Application Number / Admit Card Number and date of birth.
CLAT 2022 Counselling Date
The Counselling session for CLAT 2022 will be announced by the consortium after the declaration of the results. The counseling will be conducted offline in a centralized mode. The consortium will invite candidates equivalent to around five times the number of seats available in each category for the counseling process.
Under the new decision, the Counselling fee has been reduced from Rs 50,000/- to 30,000/- for the General category and Rs 20,000/- for ST/SC/OBC/BC/EWS/PWD and other reservation candidates.
Q1. Can there be any change in the announced CLAT 2022 schedule?
Ans. It is only possible under any extraordinary circumstances, like COVID or any other extreme cases.

Ans. The last date to submit the CLAT 2022 application form is the fourth week of March 2022. The candidates will be able to submit the duly filled application form on the official website of the consortium.
Q3. When can I raise objections against CLAT 2022 Answer Key, and when will the final answer key be released?
Ans. The official answer key for CLAT 2022 will be released in the third week of May 2022. Candidates can check it on the official website. Soon after the release of the answer, the candidates will be able to raise objections against the answer key based on which the final answer key will be released along with the CLAT result.
