CLAT 2021 – likely to be postponed

The CLAT, Common Law Admission Test is the most popular law entrance exam in India. More than 70,000 students appear for the exam every year, and it is the dream of many aspirants to become successful lawyers and advocates in India. With the economy at its worst recession, the covid pandemic has also affected the education system of India adversely. The CLAT 2021 to be postponed. This is the question in everybody’s mind.

The CLAT exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 13 in offline mode. However, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Consortium has informed that it will review the current situation in the first week of May 2021 and will then decide the CLAT 2021 exam date. In case any changes are made, it will be updated on the official website of CLAT. 

The official statement released by the CLAT Consortium says, “The applicants are advised not to panic at this stage as the Consortium will take the necessary steps as time and situation demand and shall keep the applicants updated accordingly.”

The process of filing the CLAT 2021 application form is underway. The candidates can fill the application form in online mode on the official website of the exam latest by April 30. The CLAT application fee for the General category and OBC category is Rs 4000 and for SC/ST candidates is Rs 3500.

How to prepare for CLAT if the exam is postponed?

Try to look for the positive side in these hard times. If the law entrance exam is postponed, you get a chance to strengthen your preparation and revise one more time for CLAT preparation. In this extra time for preparation, candidates must focus on solving more and more mock tests and previous year CLAT question papers. Also, candidates must enrol themselves in a good CLAT mock test series and focus on attempting more and more mock tests.
