Here are a few sequences students usually follow during their exam, and which work the best for most students.

  1. No matter if you are strong in the General Knowledge section or not, it is always better to do this section first. There is not much to think about, nothing to solve. Either you know the facts, or you don’t. If you have trouble remembering the facts, you should do this section first thing on the exam.
  1. Focus on the Legal Aptitude section. Always do the Legal Aptitude Section first, since this is what you have been studying for most. This is also the most important and most difficult section of this paper. It is better to get done with this one first before you try to tackle any other sections.
  1. If you are comfortable with maths, if you have a good hand at maths, it is better to do the math part first, i.e. right after the Legal Aptitude Section. If you are not good at or comfortable with maths, it is always better to leave it for the last, or you will get nervous and anxious if you attempt it first and suck at solving the questions. This might make you forget even other facts.
  1. Anxiety can also make you fumble in the reasoning section. It is very important to read these questions carefully and understand them very properly before answering them. This section needs time. If you hurry through this one, you might end up marking the wrong answers.
