The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance exam for admission to National Law Universities (NLUs) in India.
- Conducted annually by the Consortium of NLUs.
- The exam is conducted offline in a pen-and-paper format.
- Offers admission to 5-year integrated BA LLB and LLM programs.
- Accepted by 26 National Law Universities (NLUs) and other top law colleges.
- Open to both undergraduate and postgraduate aspirants.
Candidates must meet the CLAT eligibility criteria set by the Consortium of NLUs to appear for the examination.
- Education Qualification: Passed Class 12 or appearing in the current academic year.
- 12th Marks Criteria: Minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
