The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is an exam conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI), which is mandatory for every law graduate to clear for practicing law in any Court of law in India. AIBE is an assessment of legal knowledge and aptitude, conceptual clarity and decision-making skills required to practice law. Thus one must prepare for AIBE (16) in a holistic manner.
Till 2020, AIBE was an open book exam, which allowed candidates to carry books, notebooks, and study material to the exam hall. However, from 2021 the exam pattern has changed, and AIBE is no longer an open book exam. However, candidates can still carry Bare Acts, without notes. Bare Acts are the exact text of a specific enactment by legislature, without interpretation.
With this major change in AIBE, it has become even more difficult for the candidates to clear this exam. Hence, candidates need a full-proof and well-thought strategy to clear the exam.
