DU LLB 2021: Advisory Program, Answer Key, Cut-offs

The National Testing Agency – NTA has released the DU LLB Advisory Program and the first list of admission on November 22. It released the first LLB admission ranking for all categories. In total, three admission rankings were issued. Candidates included in a specific ranking must submit an application for admission within the prescribed deadlines.

The National LLB 2021 Examination was conducted on September 29 for admission to the 3-year LLB course offered by Delhi University. The University of Delhi (DU) Law School currently offers 2,922 seats for the 3-year LLB program at its three campuses. 

The DU LLB Entrance Examination is a 2-hour national exam consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. DU LLB Question Paper will consist of four sections – English Language & Comprehension, Analytical Abilities, Legal Awareness & Aptitude, and General Knowledge.

The NTA issued the notification containing the DU LLB Examination program. Applicants can check the latest DU LLB exam Syllabus. Post-exam dates will be released separately by Delhi University.

LLB Counseling 2021

Delhi University offers LLB counseling in offline mode. However, the registration process to participate in the council is available online on its official website to invite candidates to participate in the counseling process. Applicants are required to register with the DU LLB 2021 consulting firm and submit their documents. University officials will check the documents of the applicants, and based on their degree and preference an admission ranking will be issued.

Seat Allocation 

The DU LLB 2021 consultation will be conducted in three rounds. After each round, the university publishes the seat allocation list. The process of seat allocation of DU LLB is for the pre-selection of candidates for admission.

After examining the documents at the time of consultation, the university drafted an admission list based on the following factors:

  • Rank secured by the applicant 
  • The legal center is opted by the applicant after completing the counseling registration form.

Candidates who outperformed others are given priority when allocating seats. The DU LLB seat allocation list consists of the names of the selected candidates, along with their qualifications, rank, and other details. 

Shortlisted candidates need to pay the course fee within the notice period and appear at the assigned exam center in accordance with the university’s instructions.

Delhi University announces the list of admissions after each cycle of counseling and placement sessions. The list also states the end of the DU LLB 2021 entrance examination. The closure of the DU LLB entrance exam is issued separately for all categories. The completion of the DU LLB entrance exam is an indicator of the minimum marks required for the exam.

Result 

The NTA has released the result of DU LLB 2021 and the result of 21 PG courses offered by Delhi University. The result of the LLB 2021 has been released in the form of a scorecard. 

And a composite merit list will be issued soon. The DU LLB 2021 scorecard is available on the NTA admission portal. Applicants can log into the NTA portal to download the individual DU LLB results. Then, submit details like candidate name, candidate notes, roll number, and other information.

Participating Institutes

The 3-year LLB course is offered by the Law Faculty of Delhi University. However, DU LLB courses are offered at the three law centers of Delhi University. Students should give preference to the law school they’re willing to enroll in.

Each Delhi University law school offers equal recruitment and are also equal in terms of the quality of teaching. The seat matrix of colleges participating in the DU is presented below in a table.

Response Key

NTA released the DU LLB 2021 response key on October 19. First, a provisional key was released by the conductor.

The provisional answer key for the LLB 2021 informs the candidate of the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. Using the LLB answer key, candidates can calculate the approximate scores they will be able to score in the exam.

The NTA also gave candidates the option to object to the provisional answer key. If the objections raised by any candidate are valid, the agent will make corrections to the provisional answer key and issue an updated answer key.
