CLAT 2021 Application Form Correction

The CLAT, Common Law Admission Test, is the most widely accepted law entrance exam in India. The application form correction window of CLAT 2021 will be opened a few days after the last date to fill the CLAT 2021 application form, i.e. May 15. Candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms will be allowed to make certain changes in their forms. 

NOTE: Only the candidates who have successfully paid the application fee will be able to access this facility.

CLAT 2021 Application Form Correction is a process through which the applicants can make certain changes in the form that they have already submitted. The Consortium of NLUs conducts the application form correction process through the online mode on the official website of the exam.

If you have submitted your application form and paid the application fee by the deadline, you will get an option to make any necessary changes in the application form through this process. However, no new registrations, form submissions or the fee payment can be performed during this period.

CLAT Application Form Correction Highlights

Given below are some important points about CLAT 2021 application form correction that every candidate must keep in mind.

  • There has been no official announcement regarding the CLAT application form correction for CLAT 2021 yet. The facility was not provided to the applicants in 2020; hence the applicants should be very conscious while filling the application form and recheck the details. 
  • If provided, the changes to the CLAT application form can be made within the correction window provided by the CLAT conducting body.
  • Not all the details entered in the CLAT application form can be corrected. 
  • The application form correction is only possible in the online mode through the link available on the official website of CLAT.
  • Form correction requests will not be accepted through any other means, including post, handwritten, WhatsApp, Email, Fax etc., will not be entertained.
  • The applicants must be very careful while making corrections because no requests regarding making any other changes in the application form will be accepted after the closing of the correction window.
  • The candidates who have filled the application form but not submitted the application fee are not liable to make any corrections to their application form. 
  • The Consortium of NLUs will list the changes you can make in the CLAT 2021 application form correction process.

CLAT Application Correction Process

In order to make corrections to your CLAT 2021 application form, follow the given steps:

  1. Log on to the official website of CLAT (https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/).
  2. Click on “CLAT 2021” and then fill in your details to log in to your portal.
  3. Enter your mobile number and your password, then click on the “Login” button.
  4. Click on “Edit Your CLAT Application Form” option and then make the necessary changes.
  5. Click on submit to save the necessary changes.
